Summary Weekly Newsletter, 23rd Aug
Working on Solar, Anglesey Coastal walks and battery panics

Our week was dominated by "Battery Panic", it has taken many years, many helpful people and lots of research that led to a major shift in our understanding of the power needs of our electric motor this week. This will be a costly change that we are still working out, albeit more optimistically today than a few days ago. More will come later, once we have sorted a few more things out.
We had a couple of great walks on the Anglesey Coastal path.

This was taken on our Monday afternoon walk south of Rhosneigr, it included an ancient monument "Barclodiad y Gawres Chambered Tomb", although the five stones etched with intricate patterns of zig-zags and spirals were pretty hard to see in the dim lighting.
On Wednesday we met Jonny at the South Stack RSPB for lunch and then had a walk/clamber over the "mountain" towards Holyhead:

Lots more in the full weekly newsletter to Paid-up Early Bird Supporters.
In between, we have been working on our solar, with some progress.

Our last video has done amazingly well. If you haven't watched it yet, here it is:
Not so many blog posts this week, but here they are:
- Now that was a great Sunday! We have had a wonderful day
- Working together is what works for us: For us teamwork is how to beat my ADHD
- New research DEBUNKS climate disinformation.
- New video: A disaster of a weekend, breaking things as we prepare to build knees to take rigging loads: It's a catch-up of a couple of weekends back in November
- The invisible bits take so long: Hours of thinking and working but so little to see
Loads more in the full newsletter (only £2 a month or £20 a year). Hopefully we will have big news by the next newsletter about our battery situation and lots of electrical progress to share. Our next video will be out on Sunday to Early Bird Supporter and on Wednesday to everyone else. It will be about the excitement of stretching our main mast rigging in the garden in Wythenshawe - did we survive? 😉
