Rain forcing changes to our plan

This week we were hoping to make real progress on the mizzen. Yesterday Jane managed 2 coats of primer on the repaired mast top and the main mast spreaders. Ever since then it has been raining on and off all the time.

So we have moved to inside jobs. First step has been to make a huge mess by removing the knee for the port main mast cap shroud. Got everything cleaned and back now.

Next will be fitting 2 knees (one each side of the chainplate knot.

Jane has finished the first 8 chainplate loops in 12mm dyneema for the main mast (we don't need one for the forestay and the inner forestay will be different). Plus she has finished 3.5 of the 4 lower shrouds (also 12mm dyneema). So we are back to
