After 24 hours of constant heavy rain in Manchester this was nice to arrive to: Plus the cover over our cabin top means that it is completely dry inside (plastic sheeting over our bedding unnecessary). Hopefully this week we will ensure that the cover isn't needed.

So our infrared radiant heating panel had arrived. This is definitely an experiment. The size is the smallest available, calculated by wall space rather than how much heating is needed. It will plug into a switched mains socket which is controlled by a wireless timer and thermostat. So we don&

Last week Vida was moved back in the boatyard and now the first Seacoast Safari catamaran has been lifted out of the water and placed where we were. This is very convenient as she gives us a protected workspace for cutting sheets of ply before bringing them on board. Oh
