New Video: Our top 10 big interior changes
New video, we think it is a great one ;-)
We have radically changed far more of the interior of our boat over 6 years than most people ever do. The changes might offend people who love traditional layouts and lots of teak faced plywood.
The reasons why we have changed so much include:
- The survey which condemned the entirety of the Gas and Electric installations
- Early discovery of so many leaks that ripping out almost all the interior was essential
- Not being sentimentally attached to the traditional look and layout
Our top ten picks in the video are:
- Removing the headlining/gutting the interior
- Replacing and extending the Galley (J)
- The aft cabin bed (J)
- Changing the toilets
- Changing the windows (J)
- Removing the diesel engine and fuel tanks
- Rebuilding the forecabin (and chain locker)
- Removing the navigation table (J)
- Building the Nook++
