New Video: Can we safely stretch our 12mm Dyneema DIY Main Mast shrouds & stays?
After Jane did all the splicing for the main mast rigging we had to stretch everything
Jane made all the rigging for our main mast (4 lower shrouds, 2 cap shrouds, 2 backstays, 1 forestay and 8 chainplate loops) out of 12mm Dyneema rope. Then it all needed to be stretched to tighten everything backup after the weave had been opened to make all the spliced eye loops.
