First guardline fitted!

Today we fitted our first guardline to our carbon fibre stanchions. It's on the port side from the forward side of the gate to the pulpit.

We are using 6mm dyneema and as our stanchions are very high we are fitting 3 lines. We may well have to shorten the forward stanchions if they clash with the sails.

Yesterday we also finished the joints on the diagonal forward braces for the pushpit corners (we still need to cut them down to the exact length).

Next steps are the horizontal carbon fibre tubes for the side solar panels. We've fitted the first of 8 supports in total needed for the 4 side solar panels.
