Electric motor and drive train progress

Whoop whoop.

Our electric motor is now in very close to the final position and ready for us to fit the brackets and motor mounts so that we can connect the drivetrain all the way to the propeller.

That is still quite a lot of work and we do have to buy a few bits. We are going to have to save up for the actual propeller which was over £2k 3 years ago.

Motor in approx position. A piece of flat bar showing where the drive shaft will be, almost correctly lined up with the Aquadrive. The rest of the Aquadrive connections shown and one of the motor mounts (brackets to be bolted to the original engine bearers).
Looking down at the motor through the cockpit floor. Lowering it past the Victron boxes is a bit of a squeeze.

Still feels like real progress and means we have access to be able to properly fit the extra galley bulkhead including fibreglassing it to the hull.
