Back from eCargoBike store build side project
Two days and one night away, time to catch-up

We have been on a road trip, which can be a challenge in an old Nissan Leaf that has already done over 100,000 miles, especially when temperatures exceed 30℃.
On Tuesday, we left for Nottingham to finish the eCargoBike store for my old Bullitt that I've converted and passed onto our sons.
We went for a lovely family meal at Pho, best gluten-free menu so far (the whole dessert menu was entirely gluten-free and on the main menu they marked the few items with gluten, which feels very different). I finished with a beautiful Vietnamese coffee:

Wednesday was hot, but we achieved the objective, left them to paint it with shed preservative.

We managed some other jobs (particularly taking stuff for recycling) as well.
The journey home took a long time. The battery temperature was hard to control. So, we needed smaller, more frequent charges (the temperature rises faster when you charge it to a higher % of full) and slower speeds (the Leaf battery is only cooled by natural airflow; as you go faster, the airflow increases, but the battery temperature also increases if pushed harder). Anyway, we were back before midnight.
Today is going to be a quiet recovery day.
Our most recent video was released automatically on Wednesday morning. We hope it will have long-term value for people considering or doing DIY dyneema rigging rather than be of more general interest.
