A back to the cockpit enclosure
Just up this evening
Jane has finished both (very complicated) back pieces for the cockpit enclosure. They are now both fitted for this evening. Tomorrow, we take them down again for Jane to fit the zip that will join them together in the middle.

The central section will be unzipped and folded back (on the inside) when we need to access the mizzen winches.
With 5 days until December, just the two side doors (again very complicated) still to do. Hopefully we will have the port side (which we won't be opening very much this winter) done next.
Today's short video was when we were both feeling a bit frustrated with progress.
I guess there were lots of things that didn't really feel like making progress to do. For example, I emptied the box of heat treated compost and then filled it again. That takes a while to move everything. Then there was a bit of stuff to order (like more coconut coir bricks that we use in the composting toilets). It's a couple of years since we last bought any. Should have enough coming for another 2 years.
