Weekly news 25th June

This weeks news has been made public to everyone but I wanted to notify you all about it.

We hope that everyone in the UK is surviving this unprecedented heatwave (sadly a phrase that is going to be repeated frequently as the consequences of climate change continue to ramp up).

Our little stand against a world gone mad continues to bring us hope, joy and life. It's 3 months since we purchased any fossil fuels (electricity or diesel) for the boat. We have had to pay for one car charge in that time - several cloudy days, some extra driving and part of the solar out of action while we were building the solar arch meant we didn't have enough extra to charge the car.

We hope that we can encourage more people to move away from fossil fuels (and the Methodist Church to actually put into practice what it believes about justice and creation).
